Las Cruces School Bond Election Tuesday

  On Tuesday, voters within the Las Cruces School District will consider a $50 million General Obligation Bond Issue. Voter approval of the bond would not increase the current school tax rate.

If approved, the funds may be used throughout Las Cruces Public Schools to provide new classrooms and multipurpose rooms, safety and security upgrades, major school renovations such as new roofs and heating and cooling systems, new furniture, playground equipment, technology support, and/or phase I of major upgrades to physical plant facilities.

 
On Election Day, Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 7 am to 7pm, voters may cast ballots at any of the following sites:

Doña Ana County Government Center – 845 Motel Blvd.
East Picacho Elem. – 4450 N. Valley Dr.
Fairacres Elem. – 4501 W. Picacho Ave.
Hillrise Elem. – 1400 S. Curnutt St.
Jornada Elem. – 3400 Elks Dr.
Las Alturas Fire Station – 4145 Cholla Rd.
Las Cruces High – 1750 El Paseo Rd.
Mayfield High – 1955 N. Valley Dr.
Sonoma Elem. – 4201 Northrise Dr.
Sunrise Elementary – 5300 Holman Rd.
Thomas Branigan Memorial Library – 200 E. Picacho Ave.
Tombaugh Elementary – 226 Carver Rd.
