Las Cruces Shooting Possibly a Result of Road Rage

  Las Cruces Police are investigating what’s believed to be a road rage incident that’s resulted in gunfire and a 30-year-old man transported to an El Paso hospital.

 

The victim was airlifted to University Medical Center of El Paso with at least one gunshot wound. His condition is not known at this time.

 

Police believe the incident occurred close to 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the vicinity of Rinconada Boulevard and Settlers Pass. Police are trying to identify the suspect and second vehicle involved in this incident. No other information is available.

 

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795.

 

Police are temporarily blocking traffic in and out of the Rinconada subdivision along Rinconada Boulevard, and between Roma Drive and Settlers Pass. Roadways will be open once the investigation is complete.
