Hatch, NM – New Mexicans were stunned last August by the flooding that devastated the village of Hatch, which is widely known as New Mexico's Chile Pepper Capital. Although government and private aid helped some residents get back on their feet, others are still struggling to regain normal lives.
In the first of a series, Kent Paterson examines the aftermath of the Hatch flood and how residents fear that another flood will strike their town.
