A family hiking in the Sandia Mountains who later became lost has been rescued by authorities.
The family was rescued late Saturday after the father began having medical complications in the evening as the temperature started to drop.
Police say the family had been hiking up the La Luz Trail.
Thirteen-year-old Paul Rosenberg says mother and sibling went to find help when they got lost.
Albuquerque police were able to find the family by tracking the location of their cell phones when they dialed 911.
