“Mark Medoff: Far From Finished” will honor Tony award-winning playwright Mark Medoff and fund an endowment in his name at New Mexico State University.
Scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 6, the fundraiser will include two separate programs: a dinner and silent auction at Atkinson Recital Hall; followed by performances by the Las Cruces Symphony and the NMSU Dance program along with a roast by Medoff’s celebrity friends at NMSU’s Center for the Arts.
“The purpose of the lectureship is to bring notable people in the film/TV and theater industries to campus for intense residencies and a public presentation,” Medoff said.
Tickets for the dinner cost $300 per person, which begins with the silent auction at 5:30 p.m. in Atkinson Recital Hall; the cost of the dinner also includes admission to the program at NMSU’s Center for the Arts, as well as an after-party at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces. A table seating 11 people costs $3,000. The symphony and dance performances followed by the roast will begin at 8 p.m. and tickets range from $50-$100 depending on seating location.
