Mesilla – The Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, along with San Andres High School and the Town of Mesilla will hold a grand opening for the public library Thursday, January 6 from 4 to 6 pm. The library will be located at San Andres High School at 2355 Avenida De Mesilla.
The grand opening will include tours of the new facility, introduction of staff, refreshments and a ribbon cutting by the Chamber of Commerce.
The library is scheduled to be open from 9 to 7 Monday through Thursday, and from 9 to 3 on Fridays. It will be home to over 300 adult fiction books, computers and more. The library will be housed in the high school cafeteria. The public is asked to use the Town Hall and Visitor Center parking and to enter in the north door of the high school.
