Mining Merger To Affect Grant County

Las Cruces, NM – In late November, a primary merger was signed between two mining company giants, Phelps Dodge and Freeport McMoran. If the merger goes through, the two would create the world's largest publicly traded copper company. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, this conjoining coule affect mining operations in Grant county, New Mexico.
