Most Plead Guilty In Major Drug Bust

Federal authorities say nearly all of 28 people charged in Las Cruces last spring with illegal drug trafficking have now pleaded guilty.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 45-year-old Javier Castruita of Anthony, N.M., on Monday became the 24th person to plead guilty in the case, which resulted from a multi-agency investigation.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Albuquerque say one person remains a fugitive and that charges against three other people have been dismissed.
