National Hispanic Cultural Center To Dedicate Vet Sculptures

The National Hispanic Cultural Center is set dedicate two sculptures paying homage to Latino veterans.

The center will dedicate the sculptures Wednesday at a special Veteran's Day event.

Officials say one sculpture by artist Reynaldo "Sonny" Rivera was made in the likeness of veteran Pete Padilla and Manuel Mora.

"Warriors Repose," by artists Cristina González and Jacob Sisneros, is another piece of art honoring Latino veterans that will be unveiled.

The center also will host Veteran's Day programs throughout the week.
