New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez made a quick trip to Missouri to raise money for re-election before heading to the West Coast for a Republican Party event.
Martinez campaign spokesman Chris Sanchez said the governor traveled Thursday to St. Louis for a fundraiser for her re-election.
The governor's next stop was California for a Republican National Committee event in San Diego.
Martinez is to return to New Mexico after Friday evening's GOP event.
Sanchez said the governor's re-election campaign will pay for her travel expenses.
