NM Attorney General On Border Tour In Canada

New Mexico – SANTA FE, N.M. (KRWG) New Mexico Attorney General Gary King is on a three-day tour in British Columbia to learn about measures by the Canadian government to balance border security and commerce.

King's office said the attorney general will visit law enforcement, transportation and port facilities in the Vancouver, British Columbia area.

King started the tour on Tuesday and said in a statement he hopes to learn about practices that can be used in New Mexico along its southern border with Mexico.

King said the tour was organized by the consulate general of Canada in Seattle, Wash.
