NM Flu Cases On The Rise

Jan 11, 2013

Health officials say the flu is spiking in New Mexico, with at least 88 people hospitalized across the state. Department of Health officials say that's a dramatic increase from this time last year.

The Albuquerque Journal reports that health officials say there's plenty of vaccine available.

High-risk groups include older people, young children, pregnant women and people with chronic conditions, such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease.
