NM Receiving Federal Manufacturing Grant

KRWG News – SANTA FE, N.M. (KRWG) The New Mexico Manufacturing Extension Partnership has gotten a federal grant for nearly $342,000.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Jeff Bingaman says the grant awarded by the U.S. Department of Commerce will be used to help small- and medium-size businesses acquire advanced manufacturing capabilities.

The idea is to make them more competitive.

Bingaman announced the funding last week, saying it will help ensure that businesses have the tools they need to succeed.
