By Katie J. Goetz

Las Cruces, NM – One of the five final candidates for the next president of New Mexico State University is William Flores. Prior to his appointment at NMSU as provost and more recently as interim president, Flores served at California State University-Northridge (CSUN). There, he was dean for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. As Katie Goetz reports, that appointment gave Flores experience in resolving battles between professors and their students.
