Pearce Invites Nominations For Military Academy Nominations

  Las Cruces, N.M. – High school seniors who have applied for admission to a service academy are reminded to apply for a Congressional nomination by October 9, 2015.  These include the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, New York, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York.  Students applying to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut do not need a Congressional nomination.

Interested students must submit their completed applications to Congressman Pearce’s Las Cruces Office, 570 N. Telshor Blvd., Las Cruces, NM 88011, no later than October 9, 2015.  Congressman Pearce will hold Board Academy Reviews onNovember 7, 2015, and will then submit his nominations to the Academies.

The application process is open to all interested high school seniors in New Mexico’s Second Congressional District who have applied for admission to an academy.
