Texas – Texas Gov. Rick Perry who's thinking about getting into the 2012 presidential race will increase speculation about his future with a stop in Los Angeles.
The conservative Republican's office says he will attend a Sunday event organized by a Hispanic anti-abortion group.
Perry is a prominent voice in the Christian conservative wing of the GOP, and talk about his possible candidacy increased after two of his trusted political advisers fled Newt Gingrich's campaign last week.
Polls show GOP voters are uneasy with the party's emerging 2012 field.
Earlier this month Perry invited the nation's governors to join him in a prayer day to seek God's guidance to deal with the problems facing America.
