Residents and businesses on North Roadrunner Parkway from Bataan Memorial East to the Cuestas Apartments will experience a water outage from approximately 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, until 2 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, while Las Cruces Utilities installs two distribution valves.
Once service is restored, water may be discolored due to mineral deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, City officials recommend waiting to wash laundry until after the water becomes clear. The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, flush outside and/or cold water faucets for five minutes. If the discoloration remains, call the City at 526-0500 for assistance.
