Police Need Help In Finding Family Of Injured Man

By KRWG News

Las Cruces – Las Cruces Police are asking for the public's help in finding family or friends of a 46-year-old man who was seriously injured in a pedestrian crash Wednesday evening.

At around 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17, Anthony Santiago was walking on Bataan Memorial East between Sonoma Ranch Boulevard and Mesa Grande Drive when he was struck by an automobile and seriously injured.

The driver of the vehicle called 911 to report the accident and Santiago was flown to University Medical Center of El Paso where he is being treated. Santiago's injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, but he has had little communication with hospital staff and may have some degree of amnesia.

The only form of identification Santiago had at the time of the crash was a bus pass with his name and date of birth. Police have been unable to find additional information on Santiago through any database.

Santiago's family or close friends are asked to contact Las Cruces Police at (575) 526-0795.
