Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000 for information that helps identify the suspect or suspects who broke into and burglarized the Las Cruces Public Schools’ Operations Annex sometime last week.
Las Cruces Police learned that the Operations Annex, at 2820 Las Vegas Ct., was broken into and burglarized at least twice between the evening of Monday, June 17, and the morning of Wednesday, June 19.
Officers learned that catalytic converters were stolen from several public school work vans and more than $3,000 worth of hand tools were stolen from the premises. All together, damage to the property and value of the stolen material totaled close to $8,000.
The image of one suspect was captured on a security camera within the Operations Annex. The suspect has brown hair, and was wearing a T-shirt and shorts.
