Reward In Las Cruces House Fire

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that helps investigators determine who may have ignited a fire that burned a home early Friday evening.

Shortly before 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, Las Cruces firefighters responded to 5561 Gobi Lane where they found flames and heavy smoke inside the residence. Firefighters extinguished the fire within minutes but the home was heavily damaged by fire and smoke.

Fire investigators are suspicious of the fire and believe that someone may have intentionally started it.

Anyone with information that can help fire investigators determine the cause of this fire is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or send a tip via text message to CRIMES (274637), keyword LCTIPS.

The Crime Stoppers number and text messaging services are operational 24 hours a day and you do not have to give your name to collect a reward.
