Salopek Named To Game Commission
Las Cruces – A pecan grower, Thomas "Dickie" Salopek, is the newest member of the state Game Commission.
His term will expire Dec. 31, 2013.
Salopek, who owns two farms in the Las Cruces area, has a bachelor's degree in agronomy and soil from New Mexico State University.
Before his appointment to the Game Commission, he was named as a regent at NMSU.
Gov. Bill Richardson announced his appointment to the commission Tuesday.
