(Alamogordo, New Mexico) - The Trinity Site motorcoach tour sponsored by the New Mexico Museum of Space History and the International Space Hall of Fame Foundation has sold out its first coach and is now taking reservations for a second.
“We were very pleased, and a bit surprised, that our tour sold out so quickly and ahead of deadline,” said Museum Executive Director Chris Orwoll. “With a little more than two weeks to go before the tour on April 4, we’re pretty confident that there are folks out there who would like to go and just haven’t made their reservations yet. We’ll need a minimum of 20 reservations in order to secure the second bus so we’ve extended the sign-up deadline to March 27.”
Limited advance reservations for the second coach are on sale now through the museum’s education department and include the round trip to Trinity Site, guided tour, brownbag lunch, guided tour of the museum, and reserved seating for the Tombaugh Theater showing of Trinity: The Atomic Bomb Movie. The ticket price is $70 per person, or $60 for museum members. The deadline for reservations has been extended to Friday, March 27.
