Las Cruces – Tuesday residents in Sierra County, New Mexico will vote on a gross receipts tax which if approved will go mostly to help the state pay for the construction of Spaceport America. Virgin Galactic is slated to be the anchor tenant at the facility--when it opens they plan to blast tourists into sub-orbit for about $200,000 a ticket. As KRWG's Evan Woodward reports, state officials say a lot is hinging on the outcome.
