Special Needs Kittens Available At Dona Ana County Government Center

Three Siamese-mix kittens are living temporarily at the Doña Ana County Government Center Kitty Condo, awaiting their forever homes.  The kittens all have special medical conditions that will require additional screening of prospective adopters, but otherwise are healthy, happy and ready to go home.

All three are survivors of a litter that belonged to a rescued feral cat. Two males had severe eye infections; one had to have both eyes removed, and one kitten was left with one eye because of the illness. Their sister, also available for adoption at the government center, was born with a crooked neck.

Anyone interested in adopting the kittens can see them during regular business hours at 845 N. Motel Boulevard, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For more information on adoption procedures for other adoptable animals, contact the Animal Services Center of the Mesilla Valley at (575) 382-0018, or stop by the shelter offices at 3551 Bataan Memorial West. You can also visit the shelter’s Facebook page for photos and information.
