Tips Lead To Arrests Of NMSU Las Cruces Burlgary Suspects

Clear images taken from well-placed surveillance cameras allowed Las Cruces Crime Stoppers to receive numerous tips from individuals who recognize the three suspects believed to be responsible for burglarizing New Mexico State University’s O’Donnell Hall.

Those tips led police to the three suspects, and recovery of the Hewlett-Packard computer and Infocus projector stolen July 11 from O’Donnell Hall. The computer and projector were valued at $2,100.

No charges have been filed at this time but are expected within the next week.

Shortly after releasing surveillance photos Thursday afternoon, Las Cruces Crime Stoppers began receiving tips as to the identities of the suspects. The tips kept pouring in throughout the evening and into Friday.

New Mexico State University Police is the lead agency in this case and is being assisted by Las Cruces Police and New Mexico State Police.
