Winter weather has moved into southern New Mexico, and along with it, difficult driving conditions in parts of the region.
The following have been upgraded to FAIR DRIVING CONDITIONS:
New Mexico 90 from Lordsburg to Silver City - Road has been sanded, however some icy spots may still remain. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
US 180 from Glenwood to Santa Clara - Road has been sanded, however some icy spots may still remain. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
New Mexico 15 from mile post 8 to mile post 36 is icy in spots. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
New Mexico 152 from mile post 24 to mile post 31.7 is icy in spots. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
New Mexico 35 from mile post 21 to mile post 27 is icy in spots. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution.
NM 59 north of Winston (mile marker 0-30), and NM 152 between Silver City and Hillsboro (mile marker 27 to 38) have reported that these routes are clear but remain wet, which may create icy conditions during the overnight hours as temperatures drop.
