SILVER CITY, NM – June 3, 2015 – Bureau of Land Management officials report the 65-acre Treasure Mountain Fire is 80 percent contained. The fire is six miles northwest of Silver City, NM. There are no structures threatened. Some resources will be released from the incident today.
Firefighters remaining on the incident will continue reinforcing containment lines and mopping-up. This will be the last report on the Treasure Mountain Fire.
