UPDATE: Three Killed In El Paso Wreck; Man Charged With Intoxicated Manslaughter

Authorities say three people were killed after a driver ran a red light in El Paso and hit another car, triggering a fire that consumed both vehicles.

Police said 24-year-old Joel Garcia ran the light early Wednesday. Garcia has been charged with three counts of intoxicated manslaughter and is being held at the El Paso County jail on a $300,000 bond. Authorities say he does not yet have an attorney.

Police say one of the victims was ejected from the back seat.

Enrique Gaurin, also 24, survived the crash.

Police said two men and a woman died. Their names have not been released.
